All forms of Futurist Eschatology- Pre-Mil-A Mil-Post-Mil-Pre-Trib Rapture-Post-Trib Rapture-No Rapture-Pre-Wrath-Post-Wrath-Dispensationalism-Zionism-Historicism-Partial Preterism and Mid Acts; ALL require a massive re-working of biblical texts and their meanings redefining words and phrases such as SOON, NEAR, NIGH, NOW, AT HAND. THE LAST TIME, WILL NOT TARRY, THIS GENERATION and spun into definitions NEVER intended!
In Matthew 24 Christ says YOU and YOUR 24 times to His disciples in a private meeting 
-but for some reason, Churchianity doesn’t want you to believe Jesus meant any of these messages-promises-prophecies or warning to THEM (Apostles) Why?
In Matthew 16:27-28 Christ tells His Disciples (Those Standing There) that not all would see death before His coming- however the bulk of Churchianity has nearly nullified this message by negating it to the Transfiguration. Where were all of God’s Angels shown being present at the Transfiguration? How exactly did Jesus reward every man according to his works at the Transfiguration? Why did no Biblical writer record any of these events being associated with the Transfiguration or Pentecost for that matter?
Why did Paul Eph.5:14“Therefore it says: “Awake you, the one sleeping, and rise up out from the dead, and Christ will shine upon you.” tell living Ephesians to arise from the dead if resurrection applies to dead bodies? Paul was not at the cemetery when he wrote this!
Peter stated in Acts 2:17 that the events people witnessed at Pentecost were prophecies by Joel 2:28 to take place in THE LAST DAYS.
The writer of Hebrews 1:2 stated those he wrote to were living in THE LAST DAYS.
The brother of Jesus James 5:3 accused people in the 1st century of “heaping together treasures of silver and gold” in THE LAST DAYS!
Why would these inspired men of God and instructed and taught by Jesus tell people they were living in THE LAST DAYS if they were not?
Because they are those who walk by sight not by faith – counterproductive and anti-scriptural 2Cor.5:7!
They are those who believe the Kingdom is meat and drink and not righteousness peace and joy in the Holy Spirit even though Paul says otherwise Romans 14:17.
Finally- These are they who say “My Lord delays his coming Mt.24:48 and where is the promise of His coming, for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of creation 2Peter3:4!
All say none of this happened and that all spiritual promises, blessings, and promises will be realized one day here on earth in the natural realm and are content on placing their total assurance on history traditions the writings of the Church Fathers, and beloved creeds.
